WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING SNOW REMOVAL SERVICE?
The average snowstorm can drop 4000 pounds or more of snow in your driveway, that's a bit of work for any snowblower or even more if you shovel.  Sure, it can be good exercise if it's on a weekend, but not when you need to get someplace.  While the use of a snow removal service is not necessary, longtime snow residents and visitors alike have found snow removal to be an affordable and timesaving service.  When visitors arrive the last thing they want to tackle is a three-foot berm adn two feet of snow in the driveway.  Similarly, residents enjoy nto having to clear their driveways before work or after returning home.

WHAT TIME WILL YOU BEGIN SNOW REMOVAL?
Snow removal operations begin when snowfall reaches a depth of appoximately 3" to 4".  Therefore, the timing of snow removal may vary from day to day.

WHAT IF I HAVE A DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT OR PLANE TO CATCH?

Our job is to provide you with the most exceptional customer service possible.  In emergency situations, we will do all we can to help you meet your commitments.  Please remember that we are providing snow removal for additional homeowners on your route.  Give us a call 2-3 hours prior to the time you need to be out and we will do our best to accomidate you.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY FOR BERM REMOVAL?
For a number of reasons, it is impossible to coordinate our residential snow removal routes with the city snow plowing crews.  We will return as soon as possible to remove the city berms.

CAN I EXPECT MY DRIVEWAY TO BE FREE OF SNOW ALL THE TIME?

In Wisconsin, it snows whenever storms dictate and often for many consecutive hours.  We guarantee one driveway cleaning per 24-hour period.  If it continues to snow after we have cleared your driveway, we will clear your driveway the following day.

DO I NEED TO PROTECT MY LANDSCAPING FROM YOUR EQUIPMENT?
It is always a good idea to stake and tie all bushes, shrubs and trees before the first snowfall.  We cannot be responsible for superficial chain marks and scratches resulting from normal snow removal operations.  Chain marks are more apparent on new driveways and driveways that have recently been sealcoated.

WHAT IF THE CITY SNOWPLOW HASN'T COME BY YET, AND I WANT TO GET OUT?

Please be aware of your vehicle's capabilities and limitations.  For instance, how suitable are yoru vehicle's tires to heavy snow conditions?  Does it have high or low ground clearance?  If there is 1-2 feet of snow in your driveway, a similar amount will be in the street.  Consider the possiblity that it may be safer to remain a while longer in yoru warm, dry home rather than possiblity becoming stuck in the street and having to wait for a tow truck.

WHAT TYPE OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

We use a pickup trucks with a combination of straight blade and V-plows.  We also use snowblowers and handle shovels where needed.  We are constantly working on improving our equipment and techniques.  All of our trucks have flashing strobe lights for safety.

WHAT IS A V-PLOW?

A V-plow is a special plow which has "wings" that fold in to clear more snow away.  V-plows help move the snow away from areas that a straight plow can't normally reach (such as garage doors and curved driveways).

WHAT IF WE AREN'T SATISFIED WITH A JOB?
We provide a 24-hour guarantee.  If you are not satisfied with the job, we will return within 24 hours to make it right.

HOW MUCH IS THIS GOING TO COST?

Each job is individually priced so give our office a call and someone will stop out to give you a FREE estimate.  Each estimate is based on the size of the driveway and amount of work requested.  Call 715-723-6055 or e-mail
